2010 - 2019

This was the decade when two of the very active DAAD networks grew strong in the region - the Young Ambassador and Research Ambassador networks that are still active and touching many lives through information and mentoring. The DAAD also took over the responsibility of the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New Delhi.

  • DAAD Research Ambassadors are highly qualified academicians from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. They mentor and inspire students and faculty to consider Germany as a partner for their further education and research
