DAAD Regional Office New Delhi turns 65

Academic exchange between India and Germany began in 1948. The real breakthrough came in 1956 when 100 one-year scholarships were offered to Indian scholars. A number of other scholarships joined the fold. And then the DAAD established an office in India.
