Cracking the German Job Market: Tips for International Students

Thinking about studying in Germany? Who better to learn from than students who have already experienced it themselves?

Join this interactive session led by DAAD Young Ambassadors—students and alumni who have studied, researched, or lived in Germany. Through their personal stories and first-hand experiences, they will offer practical insights into what life as an international student in Germany is really like.

These sessions go beyond admissions and applications. Explore a wide range of topics including finding accommodation, managing finances, student jobs, cultural adaptation, learning German, building friendships, travelling across Europe, academic life, internships, career opportunities, and much more. You’ll hear honest accounts of both the opportunities and challenges that students encounter and learn how to make the most of your own journey.

Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to interact directly with the Ambassadors, ask your questions, and receive authentic advice from people who have been where you are today.
