In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a series of programmes and activities. We also support you in setting up regional DAAD alumni clubs and other forms of networking opportunities.

DAAD alumni from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka are welcome to get in touch with the DAAD Regional Office New Delhi with their ideas and queries by dropping a mail at alumni.newdelhidaad.de.

Various events organised especially for alumni in this region can be found here, and you will also get more information about support and funding measures for alumni.

DAAD Alumni South Asia

The DAAD would like to keep in touch with you even after your funding period has ended. This longstanding relationship between you and the DAAD expands in the form of a strong network over the South Asian region – India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
